Policies and Procedures

Placing an Order
If you are an existing customer of Five Star Lighting and want to place an order, please complete this Purchase Order Form.  The purchase order form can be printed out and faxed or edited online and emailed in to customer service.  After your order is entered, customer service will contact you to confirm pricing and availability.

If you are not an existing customer, please call us at 330-963-4484 to speak with customer service or complete and send us a credit application.

Delivery
Our goal is to deliver your order within 24 hrs, but item availability may cause your delivery date to be delayed.  If there are items on your order not in stock, you can request a partial shipment of the items that are immediately available. 

Backordered Items
If an item is not in stock in our warehouse, it will be shipped at a later date out of our stock or directly from the manufacturer.  We will update you on the estimated delivery date of any backordered items.  When a partial order is shipped, backordered items and quantities will be noted on the packing slip.

Substitutions
To avoid lengthy backorders, sometimes we can provide a substitute product equal in quality and function to the original item.  A member of our customer service team will contact you for approval before substituting any items.

Breakage
While we try to pack shipments so they are not damaged during ground shipment, damage can happen.  When there are obvious signs of damage, please note the damage and sign for the order.  Then contact us by email, fax or phone with the order number, item and quantity. 

Returns
If you receive the wrong material please complete our Request Form and fax or email it to customer service.  All requests must be made within 5 business days of delivery.  An RMA number will be issued and the order will either need to be shipped back via ground carrier or will be picked up when the correct item is delivered. 

Five Star Lighting reserves the right to assess a 15% restocking fee on any returned items or deny the return of any special order items.  If Five Star Lighting shipped the wrong material, no restocking fee will be charged.  No credit will be issued for shipping charges unless Five Star Lighting is at fault.
